Strategic Planning
At Marleen Morris & Associates, we work with organizations in a broad
range of sectors to help them identify and develop strategic opportunities.
Working closely with members of an organization such as board directors,
senior management and staff, as well as external stakeholders, we facilitate
a process to articulate strategic goals. To achieve these goals, we focus
on developing realistic and multifaceted implementation plans that translate
vision into action.
Consultation and Facilitation
We work with clients to achieve constructive and productive dialogue
with external and internal stakeholders. We design and facilitate community,
public and stakeholder consultation processes to create mutual understanding,
exchange views, gather input, develop options and arrive at decisions.
We help our clients realize the potential of consultation processes
to meet other goals, such as building relationships, enhancing public
education, identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership
and raising awareness. We also work with staff teams to help them enhance
collaboration, communication and effectiveness.
Research
Marleen Morris & Associates conducts research for clients to provide
them with information to help them make better decisions. Using a variety
of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies including surveys,
focus groups, open houses, demographic analyses, administrative and program
data analyses, environmental scanning and trend analyses we generate
insights that inform the development or evaluation of strategic directions,
programs and services.
Evaluation
Marleen Morris & Associates conducts program and service evaluations
for organizations, providing them with results that clearly identify
strengths and areas for improvement. Utilizing multifaceted evaluation
designs, our approach enables us to discover new and valuable insights
regarding program and service impact and satisfaction.
Board Development and Governance
We help organizations build governance capacity, advising on board composition,
governance models, committee structures, terms of reference and board
evaluation. We assist in developing board policies, as well as board
education and orientation programs.
